The Toia family has owned the property from the corner of Stone and Glenn to 2831 N. Stone since 1946.
Leo Toia purchased a Shell gas station in 1946 and after dozens of additions the complex now houses several businesses.  Don's Hot Rod Shop, AZ Liquidators and Celebrations Party Spot!

Leo Toia purchased Paul in 1964 so he could tell customers how to find his Automotive parts store. In the early 1980's Deanie Toia-Burris and her family (The Toia's) designed and sewed a Santa suit for him.

Paul was dressed up as a ZZ-Top member during a KLPX - 96Rock station contest. Deanie and her cousin David Toia made the 13' guitar and won the contest prize of $5,000. That was a lot of money in the late 80's.

Paul proudly held an American flag during Desert Storm and throughout other events over the years.

Paul received his latest paint job in 2012 with the help of his family, the great residences of Coronado Heights neighborhood and the painting experts at British Import Parts.
